Fall Rush Dates – Alumni Needed

Brothers,

Night one of RUSH is set.  Cal Nu needs a successful RUSH in order to petition for chartering this year.  You might think you are too old or out of touch to help…  Trust me, you could not be more WRONG!

I know each of us want to see SAE letters back on campus and our pledge class paddles hung proudly on a wall in the chapter house.  This our time to shine as alumni.

We will be hosting RUSH through out the week but night one is the biggest. If you can’t make it then please find someone who can.

Founder’s Day 2008!

Founder’s Day 2008 will be held on Sunday, March 9th @ 11am. As always, we’ll be at Northridge Park on Field #2. Last year we had a great turnout, and it would be awesome if we could get an even bigger turnout this year to show all the new pledges just what Cal Nu is all about. Last year was also very “family” oriented, so please bring the kids out again.

Weekly RUSH Meeting

We’re having our weekly Rush meeting at Oharas in Westwood, the
southeast corner of Galey and Weyburn, at 7:00 pm Monday night, January
7, 2008. Everyone brother is welcome to join us if you’re free Monday evening.

We will meet here each Monday night till the first night of RUSH which is February 4th.

It has been a long busy year but we are finally here. If you ever wanted to help, NOW IS THE TIME!

RUSH is February 5 – 9. Night 1 is at CSUN for all fraternities!

This coming Saturday the 15th we will be holding a short one hour Alumni workshop at Jim O’Banion’s home. We will finalize ideas, get your updated info and create a communication plan for Feb 4, 2008.

Can’t make it? Then find someone who can!

Ever wanted our chapter back? Then show up and let’s make it happen brothers!

It’s been far too long since we have all gotten together! Bring your cigars and thirst for an old fashion fraternity event to the 2007 Cal Nu Alumni Brotherhood Night.

Between the pressed-tin ceiling, the moose head and the massive mahogany bar we will enjoy our SAE reserved area and private bar.

We will also be hosting an exclusive Poker Tournament for those who like to go “all in”. Poker players should be at the event before 8PM to register with Jim O’Banion for the tournament!

Founder’s Day Reminder!

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to send a reminder that Founder’s Day is this Sunday at 12pm on Field #2 of Northridge Park.

I’ve had a very good response so far and it should be a great time, not to mention it’s going to be 90 degrees outside!!!!

If you haven’t already RSVP’d please do so ASAP as we need to get a good headcount for food. This year were going to try something different and not do the usual BBQ….were having a Taco Cart come out and someone will be making us tacos all afternoon.

If you were on the fence about showing up that better push you over!
